My preferred and primary medium to work with is oil paint and I have always thought of myself as a painter before anything else. That being said, whether I’m working in printmaking, illustration, or drawing, I work hard to make my identity as a painter apparent in all of my work by using a similar painterly treatment across all mediums. Treating my work in this way, allows me to add a certain liveliness, energy, and emotion to my work that I might not have been able to achieve otherwise.
